I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this race. After reading a ton of negative reviews (after I registered), I wasn't expecting very much, but I really enjoyed it.

Personally, I would leave the "White Rock" name and keep the course the same. Variety is always good, but the course seemed to be a downgrade, not an upgrade.

This was my first time running Dallas. I was expecting a good turnout (of fans) and a vibrant downtown, but it definitely did not deliver. And there seemed to be a lot of disorganization on the course with aid stations. Twice I had to wait while staff frantically refilled cups. And to top it off, a cotton t-shirt at the end.

I won't be coming back.
