The Golden Hills Trail Marathon is a point-to-point trail race from Tilden Regional Park to Lake Chabot Regional Park. The course starts with a 1,100' 4-mile climb and there are multiple other 1-mile climbs dispersed throughout the course. It's all downhill or flat after mile 19 though. The course is a 60/40 split between single track and fire road, except for the last 5k which is paved. The scenic trails, first class aid stations, impressive goody bags and prizes, and extraordinary volunteers make this an event you won’t want to miss.
