Starting on Biscayne Boulevard, the course traverses the MacArthur Causeway to South Beach, up Ocean Drive through Miami Beach, and back to Miami via the Venetian Causeway. It then heads south through the financial district & Brickell towards Key Biscayne, and then back to Bayfront Park. The course is mostly flat with only a couple minor inclines.

As our race is held within the shadow of the Kennedy Space Center, the entire event revolves around a space theme sure to delight and energize our participants. The course itself is a double out & back from Cocoa Village going north on Indian River Drive and south on Rockledge Drive.

We are proud to be the largest multi-race event in the State of Texas with new registration records being broke every year. Starting/finishing in Fort Worth's cultural district, the course tours the Stockyards, downtown, TCU, and Fort Worth's southside. The course has a couple of mid-race climbs, but it's all downhill/flat after mile 18.

Race Navigator created the Difficulty Rating scale to help runners quickly compare the difficulty between marathon courses. The scale is 0.0 to 5.0 with 0.0 being the easiest and 5.0 being the most difficult. A further explanation is below:

Rating Course Description
0 to 1 These courses are mostly downhill and very fast – excellent for PR/BQ’s.
1 to 2 A rating of “1” means the course is flat; closer to “2” you can expect small hills.
2 to 3 The course has moderate hills.
3 to 4 The course has substantial hills.
4 to 5 Very difficult course usually with technical terrain.
