I ran the Horse Capital Marathon in 2016 and it was a great experience! The location and venue was fantastic and easy to find. There were plenty of restrooms at the start and finish to accommodate runners and guests. The aid stations were well stocked and were every 3 miles or so. The course was packed with rolling hills which made things a little difficult, but it was an amazing course, nonetheless. The scenery was great as we ran by numerous large houses and various farms. This was a BQ race and while there weren't many people who ran it in BQ time, the incentive they provided for 2016 was great, too.

The aid stations had SWORD (drinksword.com ) and water, along with some different gel options and bananas.

The volunteers were great at helping out with handing out SWORD, water, and gels, as well as directing runners where to go.
