Absolutely loved the course. It was a great mix of city neighborhoods, rural, and urban streets. The climb coming into Iroquois Park wasn't as bad as most claimed, but it was definitely still a hill.

There was plenty of support both on and off course and the volunteers and course marshals did an excellent job. This was a great marathon and I highly recommend it!

In last year's race, I was unfortunately one of those that was swept up in the back with all the course closing commotion. We were running around a 5:45 marathon and the city was opening up the streets already.. Which I thought was a little unfair seeing they stated a 6:00 limit. I was able to pick it up a little bit and just barely stay ahead of the closures, but I felt bad for all the runners behind me.
