This is the fastest marathon course in South Dakota! It's a point-to-point downhill road race from Lead (6,000' ASL) to Spearfish (3,700' ASL) down the Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway. The course has 2300' of net elevation loss which makes it great for a PR.
