The course was flat which allowed me to PR this year and have an awesome race! The best part was that the kids had a blast as well. The course had plenty of aid stations and was never boring --- there were tons of spectators and lots of on-course entertainment. This race never disappoints.

Pros:
1) Awesome on-course entertainment
2) Plenty of support -- water, gel, sponges, port-a-johns
3) Well marked course
4) Great medal and t-shirt
Cons:
1) Crowded
2) Expensive race and weekend
3) Parts of the course were very boring back/service roads

Like many others, I did the Goofy Challenge this year (half and full marathon). I was a little hesitant at first, but not many marathons give you this option, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Both races had excellent sights, well-stocked aid stations, great fans, and perfect organization. The courses are fairly flat too, so you can really open it up if you want. I ended up bonking at mile 20 and pretty much had to walk the rest in, but I still had a great time. Sometimes not shooting for a PR can be the best thing to happen :).

I'd first like to say that this is an awesome marathon on a vary unique course. I remember being there as a kid and it was great to re-visit my childhood memories and not race on a typical urban course. That being said, I personally believe that they need to limit the number of participants to a lower number. The course is narrow in areas and it can make for a crammed race at times. Along with the expo -- it was PACKED and I could barely move. I typically enjoy spending an hour+ at expos, but I just wanted to get the heck out of there this time around. I realize the WDW environment is a little different from most races as they seem to focus more on 'fun', but for those of us that are there to race, it was a little disappointing.
