The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon course is fast and flat and finishes with a “tailgate” themed party in the Lambeau Field parking lot! The initial miles of the course pass along tree-lined streets in west Green Bay and the village of Ashwaubenon, then head to the village of De Pere and off to the Fox River Trail. The asphalt trail runs along the river from DePere, through Allouez, to downtown Green Bay. It then continues through more Green Bay neighborhoods before returning to Lambeau Field. Come enjoy the fun!

The Eau Claire Marathon is one of the only Spring events in Western Wisconsin that will draw in such a magnitude of runners, walkers, fitness enthusiasts, and families. The second half of the race is essentially flat or downhill until the up-and-over finish back into Carson Park.

The course is ran on the Tri-County Corridor (a rail-trail paved with limestone gravel) which features ten re-decked railroad trestles, wetlands, trout streams, Chequamegon National Forest woodlands, dairy farms, and quiet residential neighborhoods.

Race Navigator created the Difficulty Rating scale to help runners quickly compare the difficulty between marathon courses. The scale is 0.0 to 5.0 with 0.0 being the easiest and 5.0 being the most difficult. A further explanation is below:

Rating Course Description
0 to 1 These courses are mostly downhill and very fast – excellent for PR/BQ’s.
1 to 2 A rating of “1” means the course is flat; closer to “2” you can expect small hills.
2 to 3 The course has moderate hills.
3 to 4 The course has substantial hills.
4 to 5 Very difficult course usually with technical terrain.
